Allen-Vanguard gets add-on order from Lockheed
Allen-Vanguard Corporation receives a $3-million order from Lockheed Martin for more bomb-detection equipment. The deal follows an $8-million order from the US defence contractor last September, and in part exercises an option for up to $22 million in additional electronic countermeasures (ECM) equipment. “This latest version of our ECM incorporates significant technology enhancements developed in the first quarter of this fiscal year,” says David Luxton, CEO of Allen-Vanguard. “We are very pleased to see this work translate so quickly into additional orders, and we believe that these advances can drive significant follow-on orders for this fiscal year.” The company expects to deliver the new order early in the third quarter of this fiscal year.
