Randal Marlin, adjunct professor at Carleton, is looking for thinkers who can contribute to a colloquium he is organizing for September. Telling the Truth: Revisiting Jacques Ellul in an Age of Spin is the general topic. Ellul was the French philosopher who wrote an influential humanist critique of technology 40 years ago entitled The Technological Society. Proposals for contributions should be sent to Randal Marlin, Department of Philosophy, Carleton University (marlin@ncf.ca), by April 1.
