C-COM numbers up and down

C-COM Satellite Systems Inc. registers improved revenues for the year but earns less. The satellite communications systems maker reported a net profit of $303,849 ($0.1 a share) for the fiscal year ended November 2006, a 32% drop from $450,375 ($01.5 cents a share) the previous year. C-COMLogo%5B1%5D.jpgRevenue was $6.41 million, a 6.8% climb from $6.002 million in 2005. C-COM attributes its increased revenue to strong sales of its iNetVu Mobile auto-deploying antenna systems used for two-way high-speed satellite-based Internet access. “Our customer base for these products has been steadily increasing worldwide and has significantly contributed to our revenue growth,” says president and CEO Leslie Klein. “These proprietary antenna systems, combined with additional new products and services to be deployed in the new fiscal year, will differentiate C-COM from other satellite-based Internet technology providers and will significantly increase our capability to generate additional revenues in 2007.”
