adds Norm Kelly and Simon Morris to its board of directors. Norm has more than 25 years experience in the electronics, EDA, and IP industries and currently serves as director of business development, IP Group at Synopsys. Previously he was VP of engineering, Logic Modeling Systems. With Synopsys now for 10 years, he is located at company headquarters in Mountain View, California. Norm has a BS in computer science from the University of Illinois. Simon recently joined BDC Venture Capital, bringing with him 20 years of experience in the semiconductor and wireless markets. He has held numerous executive and senior management positions at both startups and Fortune 500 companies such as Texas Instruments. Simon’s entrepreneurial background was formed while VP at Atsana Semiconductor, where he lead product management, marketing and development efforts before becoming COO. He earned both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s in electrical engineering from Royal Military College of Canada. Simon is also a designated Professional Engineer of Ontario. Elliptic provides semiconductor intellectual property cores and software for secure communications.
