a 25-year veteran of the international semiconductor industry, joins Gennum Corporation as senior VP of global sales, a newly created position. Klaus will be tasked with “building a world-class sales organization” which will include expanding Gennum’s presence in China, Korea and Taiwan with new sales and technical support offices. Klaus most recently served as vice president of Germany-based ZMD AG. Prior to that, he was president of WBC GmbH, a pan-European technical distributor. He has also held various senior level management positions with Motorola. Klaus earned a BS in 1979 from the Bingen College of Engineering in Germany. Burlington, Ont.-based Gennum has a design centre on Ottawa’s Herzberg Rd.
