BTI Photonic Systems optical network platform is selected by Vitesse Networks to support one of the UK’s largest financial institutions. The Ottawa-based networking services provider’s Netsender will help Vtesse deliver 10-gigabit ethernet connectivity on a network between Leeds, York, Middleborough and Newcastle. “Our solution allows Vtesse to meet their immediate and future fibre capacity expansion requirements in a flexible and cost-effective manner with a pay-as-you-grow network solution,” says Paul Harrison, BTI’s vice-president of global sales.
