is appointed chief procurement officer at Nortel, where he will now be responsible for all of the company’s supplier relationships and approximately US$7 billion in annual purchases. Jeff has spent 28 years in the telecommunications industry, 24 at Nortel. Prior to being made CPO, he was head of the company’s business transformation strategic procurement team and oversaw supply chain efficiency as part of the Nortel’s corporate business transformation initiative. Jeff is a volunteer director on board of Partnership for Education, Wake County, NC. His hobbies include skiing, boating, and “being a handyman.”
