OCRI.jpgOCRI and uOttawa’s School of Management partner to offer an Executive MBA scholarship worth over $59,000. The financial help will be awarded to a candidate pursuing a career within Ottawa’s knowledge-based industries, “recognizing the role that Ottawa’s talent base plays in maintaining the region’s competitiveness in the global knowledge-based economy,” says OCRI. “We are thrilled to have the opportunity make our world-class EMBA program more widely accessible to executives in the national capital region through the OCRI scholarship,” says Terry Kulka, director of the Executive MBA program. Funded by OCRI’s Partners in Prosperity, a new initiative to help “Ottawa’s community leaders to align their organization with OCRI’s core values through strategic partnerships”, the scholarship will cover tuition for from August 2007 to April 2009. It will also provide for all required materials, meals and snack on class days, tutorial sessions and parking, as well as an orientation retreat, a field trip to Silicon Valley and an “international consulting trip.” Click here to learn more about the EMBA scholarship.
