Triacta helping schools cut costs, energy

Triacta.jpgAlmonte-based Triacta Power Technologies Inc. supplies the Rainbow District School Board with its “smart metres” to help reduce energy expenditure. The technology is also being used to teach students about energy conservation. With 40 elementary schools and nine secondary schools, the Rainbow District School Board is the largest school board in Northern Ontario.
