Ed%20Vopni.jpgAs CTO and continuing on as vice president of engineering, Benny will drive the development of the company’s technology and intellectual property business plan. He has spent more than three decades in the integrated circuit industry, and joined Tundra in 2000 following its acquisition of Quadic Systems Inc., where he was VP of research and development. Studying at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, Benny earned a BS in electronics, an MS and a PhD in solid state electronics. In his new position, Ed will oversee supply chain operations, quality, program management and product engineering. He was previously director of engineering, after joining the company in 2003. Before coming to Tundra, Ed held progressively senior engineering roles at Gennum Corporation, Mitel, Nortel Networks and, most recently, at IceFyre Semiconductor. He holds a BS and MS, electrical engineering, from the Waterloo.
