Clearford posts higher revenues in Q1

Wastewater systems maker Clearford Industries Inc. posts Clearford.jpg$1.6 million in revenue for its first quarter, a $200,000 increase over revenue for the same period in fiscal 2006. The company says revenue would have been even higher but for weather delays that hindered the construction work of its Brooklin Concrete division, resulting in deeper net losses. Net losses rose to $2.99 million ($.12 cents a share) from $2.2 million ($.09 cents a share) in the corresponding period a year earlier. “Environment and infrastructure represent two of the top three public policy issues for the majority of the world; they also represent the business lines for Clearford,” says Clearford CEO Bruce Linton. “I expect that the rest of 2007 will provide for opportunities across both the wastewater and concrete divisions.”
