Dipix wins contract with Tyson

Food manufacturing inspection systems company Dipix Technologies Inc. signs a US$1.2 million contract to improve tortilla production at the Mexican food division of Arkansas-based food processing giant Tyson Food Inc.. Dipix will install its quality inspection equipment to improve quality control monitoring and reduce costs and waste at Tyson Mexican Original, one of North America's largest tortillas manufacturers. Notes John Lawrence, VP of sales and marketing at Dipix, “Beyond providing industry-leading quality inspection, Dipix cemented [its] relationship with this customer by quickly dispelling fears that automated inspection systems are difficult to use, and by providing information that can be used to tune the lines to reduce scrap.”
