JDS Uniphase is buying Innocor, an Ottawa-based provider of broadband test solutions. The company will be integrated into JDSU's CommTest business, which provides test solutions for R&D labs, among other services. The optical technologies maker is appointing communications test products industry veteran Bill Mortimer as the new VP of CommTest. The acquisition is expected to close by the end of June.
