Rural connection
DragonWave Inc. connects with rural broadband provider Barrett Xplore to bring wireless broadband to rural communities across Canada. The Ottawa wireless networking products maker will provide NB-based Barrett with AirPair Flex, giving the network backhaul and broader capacity. “The need for interference-free, licensed backhaul is gathering momentum, and we are extremely pleased to have been selected by Barrett Xplore,” says Peter Allen, president and CEO of DragonWave. “We look forward to our continuing work with Barrett in cost-effectively expanding their network and helping the company achieve its mission of making much needed broadband services available to every Canadian.”
