BelAir deploying wireless technology in BC First Nations community

BelAir Networks is helping the First Nations Seabird Island BelAir.jpgcommunity in British Columbia go wireless, deploying 49 of its wireless access nodes as part of a Siemens Canada project that’s delivering wireless broadband capability meant to improve communications for island homes, schools and business. Siemens and BelAir Networks have also developed a training program “that will encourage the residents to manage and maintain the network independently, creating jobs and ensuring self-sufficiency,” says BelAir.
