Andy has over 18 years of experience within the enterprise software and technology sectors. He gained extensive marketing, communications and product management experience at Oracle Corporation in California and within emerging technology companies in the Ottawa area. Andy has a BComm from Carleton and an MBA diploma O%27brien%2CAlecia-dna13-86X146.JPGfrom uOttawa.
Alecia O’Brien (right) joins dna13 as manager of product marketing and communications. A native of Australia, Alecia comes to her new position with eight years of experience in PR, advertising, and web development, specializing in “big ideas.” Prior to dna13, she managed marketing and communications at OCRI, implementing the organization’s PR and social media strategies. She earned a master of marketing degree from Monash University, Melbourne, as well as a BA/BSc, which included a year at Carleton as Philp%2CPaul-dna13-88X148.JPGan exchange student. Alecia is an active member of the OSSC, Ottawa Rowing Club and something called the Australian Wine Society of Ottawa, a group that can only be up to no good.
Paul Philp (bottom left) joins the product development team, bringing 25 years of experience in the software industry. Before joining dna13, Paul was a CTO of PlateSpin Ltd., where he was responsible for delivering software products to market, architecting advanced data center technologies for virtualization and automation, as well as business and technology acquisition. Prior to PlateSpin, Paul worked with several of Canada’s most successful software companies, including Platform Computing and Alias.
