PIKA forms reseller partnership

Plug-in media-processing hardware and software maker PIKA Technologies will have its low-density analog InLine board and digital gateway board merged with technology produced by Slacht and sold through the Ireland-based PIKA.jpgtelecom company’s reseller channel. A division of telecom software and services company Tuxenergy, Slacht will incorporate PIKA’s boards into its Asterisk-based Internet-protocol (IP) PBX offering and resell the integrated product. “Slacht's solution again proves the business case for open-source technologies like Asterisk, and low-cost, high-quality analog and digital boards like PIKA’s,” says Terry Atwood, PIKA’s VP of sales, marketing and customer care. “Development and hardware costs are kept low and, consequently, small- and medium-sized businesses can afford an IP-PBX telephone system that offers the features and stability of a large enterprise PBX system at a lower price point.”
