Backyard networking for tech recruiters and job seekers

In the early evening of July 19, the Kanata Kareer Group is launching an innovative, self-help approach for high technology recruiters and job seekers to connect, using a time-honoured method of bringing people together: the backyard social. By the pool of serial entrepreneur and KKG executive Tom Johnson, gazing out at the lush Kanata Lakes Golf Course, attendees will be put at ease with free food and refreshments, and relieved to be at a networking affair that is miles apart from the typical, dry job fair. “Networking can be a stressful event,” says KKG executive member Linda Pond. “This will make it easier." The event is open to a select group of recruiting companies and to KKG members and prospective members. Interested parties must register in advance, which can be accomplished by clicking here.
