Seprotech entering Mexican market
Seprotech Systems Inc. signs a letter of intent with Guadalajara-based Evans Power Equipmment to manufacture Seprotech’s
products in Mexico and sell them in that country and the broader North American market. “This agreement will provide our company with much greater production capacity, lower manufacturing costs and immediate access to a larger market,” says Seprotech CEO Martin Hauschild. “Evans is well-positioned with an existing sales distribution network that would otherwise take us many years to develop. Mexico is developing rapidly, and the availability of clean water is vital to growth.” Evans, a subsidiary of major Mexican manufacturing company Valsi Corporation, has bought Seprotech’s water reuse system for a 200-home subdivision in Mexico, which will serve as a demonstration facility and reference site.
