Thermal Energy subsidiary wins first contract

Newly formed Thermal Energy International subsidiary ForEverGreenEnergy Inc. signs a $3.75 million, six-year deal to provide Fraser Papers Inc.’s pulp mill in Thurso, Que. with recovered waste heat through Thermal%20Energy.jpgThermal Energy’s new Alternate Utility Delivery (AUD) program. Fraser Papers is the first customer of the green energy program, which is expected to reduce fossil fuel consumption at the mill by up to 10%. By capturing waste heat from boilers and converting it into usable energy, the AUD program will help Fraser Papers save approximately $500,000-worth of energy yearly. Under terms of the agreement, ForEverGreen’s parent company will install and manage Thermal Energy's FLU-ACE waste heat recovery system for the mill, which will be given the option to buy the green energy technology when the contract expires.
