IDC swings to profitability in Q2

Satellite services company International Datacasting Corp. rings up a profit inInternational%20Broadcasting%20Logo.jpg its second quarter, as net earnings jump to $450,278 from a loss of $212,835 last year. Revenue, spurred by orders for the company’s video products, shot up 66% to $5.6 million. “Our continued growth and profitability is a direct result of our investment in new products and applications as well as hard work on the part of our marketing and sales team, especially in the video arena,” says Ron Clifton. The company’s CEO notes that a recent rash of orders puts IDC’s current backlog at approximately $9 million.
