Ottawa-based Kinaxis Inc.’s RapidResponse software has been chosen by Microsoft’s game console manufacturing division to monitor fluctuations in supply and demand. “In leveraging RapidResponse, users at Microsoft will be empowered to respond to the unexpected events that are the norm in a fast-paced, high-growth environment such as theirs,” says Kinaxis VP of marketing Randy Littleson. “Responding more effectively to change will enhance Microsoft's competitive stance and strengthen its leadership position.” Integrated with the software giant’s SAP Enterprise Resource Planning system, Kinaxis’s solution will allow Microsoft’s Entertainment and Devices Division to adapt manufacturing operations, as dictated by market demand.
