Tiffany Pitter-Lawrence
joins OCRI as the new manager of external communications. Tiffany has worked in diverse roles in marketing and communications, including advertising, business development, public relations, media relations and communications planning/strategy. Prior to joining OCRI, she was employed at FreeBalance and Jaku Konbit, an organization working to improve the lives of African-Canadian children and youth in Ottawa. A licenced financial representative, she manages her own business, helping families with investments, debt management and insurance. She has volunteered her time as a member of the board at Quarry Co-operative and as a member of the professional development team at the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). Tiffany earned an MA (communications) from Carleton and a BA from U of T, where she studied political science, English literature and women’s studies. She enjoys spending time with her family and reading the latest books on marketing, communications, finance and investment.
