OSI Geospatial Inc. nets a contract to provide the Australian Navy with its Electronic Chart Precise Integrated System (ECPINS) submarine navigation software. The US$2-million deal calls for the Ottawa-based mapping software company to supply six navigation systems and a software upgrade for the Australian Navy's Collins-class submarines. “We have been working with the Australian Navy since March 2005, and including this contract, we have now secured more than $US9 million of business with this very important customer,” says Ken Kirkpatrick, chief executive of OSI.
