Ottawa-based Practice Solutions Software’s Application Service Provider is chosen by OntarioMD to manage electronic medical records. Beating out 11 other vendors, the software company’s won a license that will have the latest version of its web-based Practice Solutions Suite deployed by the doctors’ resource over the next 15 years. “We see the selection of the Practice Solutions Suite ASP by OntarioMD as a tremendous step that enhances patient care – not only in Ontario, but across Canada,” said Practice Solutions president Rob Thorpe. Practice Solution’s software, which manages patient information, is currently being used by more than 1,000 practices to manage more than 1.5 million electronic patient records in Canada.
