Connecting Down Under

Ottawa-based TalkSwitch signs a distribution agreement with Lan 1 to bring its telephone systems to small businesses in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific. An Australian distributor of VoIP equipment, Lan 1 has been actively seeking a solution like TalkSwitch forTalkSwitch.bmp small-business customers. “Australia has a highly advanced telecom infrastructure and a growing demand for telephone systems that allow the small business to take full advantage of that infrastructure,” says Jan Scheeren, president and CEO, TalkSwitch. “Choosing the right partner to reach such a dynamic market was not something we took lightly, however the decision was made easy when we entered discussions with Lan 1…” TalksSwitch’s upgradeable phone systems for SMBs allow customers to choose up to 32 incoming phone lines, 64 local extensions and 32 VoIP trunks per office location.
