Tarquin Group Inc. almost quadruples revenue from $579,820 a year ago to $2.1 million in Q2, 2008. But losses during the period keep pace, increasing to $1.04 million ($5.7 a share) from $251,851 ($3.9 a share). The Ottawa-based holding company, which bought local firms Process Photonics Inc. and Dipix Technologies Inc. earlier this year, was recently frustrated in its attempts to raise financing in a private placement on the TSX Venture Exchange and has since taken a $300,000 loan from investors to meet its RBC loan payments.
