Reversal in 2007
Seprotech Systems Inc. rebounds in fiscal 2007, raising revenue by 144% to $7.9 million, while pulling itself out of red figures with $222,000 ($0.1 a
share) in profit compared to a net loss of just over $1 million ($0.3 a share) for the previous year. The water and wastewater treatment systems maker also ended the year with its third sequential profitable quarter, in which revenue grew to $2.3 million from $507,000 in the fourth quarter of 2006. Net income for the period was $124,000 ($0.0 a share) compared to a net loss of $383,000 ($0.1 a share). The Ottawa-based company expects further growth in 2008, in part from new distribution and manufacturing agreements, as well as through British Columbia’s P.J. Hannah Equipment Sales Corp., which Seprotech is in the process of buying.
