Amika Mobile is teaming up with Binary Semantics to resell its software server, Amika Mobility Server, in India. Ottawa-headquartered Amika Mobile says Binary Semantics has agreed to distribute the server, which delivers Email to mobile phones via short messaging service (SMS), to business customers throughout India where some 100,000 SMS phones are sold daily. Amika says its product provides Email-to-SMS solutions at 10% of the cost of typical mobile messaging solutions. It is also fully scalable and runs on any enterprise hardware.
