IBM partnership
Tundra Semiconductor Corp. and IBM have partnered to
co-develop Tundra’s “smart” system interconnect products. The collaboration will see the Ottawa-based chip maker license IBM’s 65-nanometre power processor core for use in its system interconnect products, which transmit information between computer components. The new arrangement is an extension of a previous agreement to include Big Blue’s 90nm processor in Tundra’s chips.
