Ottawa-based CRYPTOCard, a provider of positive identification technology, launches its Certified Partner Program, which allows value-added resellers (VARs) to bundle the company’s Two-Factor Authentication solution with each sale. The program also offers a combination of services, including training and technical assistance, designed to support VARs that are actively selling remote access products from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper or SonicWALL, or services from managed, virtual private network providers, and show them how to increase profitability through CRYPTOCard. The company’s Two-Factor Authentication uses one-time passwords to help organizations secure their networks by eliminating weak, “static” passwords, which are commonly forgotten, mismanaged or easily cracked, ensuring individuals are identified before being granted access to applications, data and networks.
