Tim Workman
is named VP of strategic initiatives at Acron Capability Engineering Inc. Prior to joining Acron, Tim was a major with the Canadian Armed Forces, where he had a range of achievements in the training and simulation field. He most recently headed a branch of the Army Individual Training Authority Headquarters focused on enhancing military training programs through the use of E-learning, distance education, and simulation. His efforts over the past year resulted in his being awarded a Chief of Defence Staff Commendation as well as the 2007 New Brunswick Knowledge Industry Recognition Award for “Industry Person of the Year.” Currently serving as a VP for LearnNB, the New Brunswick chapter of the Canadian Society for Training and Development, Tim is helping to develop New Brunswick’s initiative on advanced learning and performance support systems. He will work out of Acron’s office in Fredericton.
