Mitel wins CHIP award for product of the year

Mitel wins CE Pro Magazine’s 2007 High Impact Product award for the Inter-Tel 3000. “The CHIP (awards) are unlike any other in the industry,” says Jason Knott, editor in chief of CE Pro. “The winners are exclusively nominated and then voted on by integrators. The winners really do represent the best among the rank and file of custom installation.” Products are gauged on criteria such as whether they help a dealer Mitel.jpgopen up a previously untapped market segment, boost an integrator’s efficiency by making installations faster and less complicated, or increase a custom installer’s profitability by offering a solid margin. “The Inter-Tel 3000 enhances communications of busy households, small office / home offices (SoHos) and micro-businesses by managing a complete range of unified voice and data requirements over a single network,” says Steven De Korne, VP of marketing, Mitel US. “Simplicity is a hallmark of Mitel communications products. We are very pleased that integrators recognize the ease of installation, management, and use of this system.” The Inter-Tel 3000 provides residences and small offices with advanced features such as conferencing, centralized voice mail and an automated attendant for greeting and routing of incoming calls to make communications more efficient.
