Monitoring South Korean skies
Intelcan is chosen to provide a radar system to South Korea, which will use the Ottawa-based company’s solution to monitor air traffic for Incheon and Jeju international airports in the southern region of the country. “We are very excited about this project as it represents the first Intelcan MSSR radar installation in this part of the world,” says Intelcan CEO Max Rutherford. “We were selected over many competitors because of our quality of products, the excellence of our engineers, and our reputation for delivering on-time, on-budget programs in any part of the world.” The deal calls for Intelcan to customize and install the system, and provide radar program management and integrated logistics support, as well as other services. The system is expected to be up before the end of the year.
