Olympics win
C-COM Satellite Systems sends an unspecified number of its mobile antenna systems to the 2008 Olympic summer games in Beijing through its reseller China SATNET Communications Technology Co. The Ottawa-based company says the equipment will be used by China Netcom for emergency response communications during the games. “We are pleased that SATNET and China Netcom have selected the C-COM iNetVu Mobile to provide emergency response communications for this prestigious event,” says C-COM president and CEO Leslie Klein. “With a large number of iNetVu systems already deployed throughout China, the selection of the iNetVu to provide back up emergency communications during the 2008 Olympic Games is a great testimony for its ease of use and reliability.”
