PIKA Technologies wins “Best of Show” at the Technology Marketing Corporation’s (TMC) Internet Telephony Conference & EXPO East 2008 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. The Ottawa-based developer of media-processing hardware and software took the award for its PIKA Warp product, a customizable, embedded computer that allows developers to deploy Asterisk, trixbox and other Linux-based applications with numerous traditional and next-generation telephony features optimized for SMBs. The appliance is compatible with VoIP and analog trunks and telephones. “This award drives home the fact that [PIKA Warp] is an outstanding piece of technology that meets an unmet need for application developers,” says Terry Atwood, PIKA’s VP of sales, marketing and customer care. “We are delighted to be recognized with this award by TMC, which is such an influential channel in our marketplace.”
