Air Canada flying with Mxi software

Mxi Technologies is onboard with Mxi.JPGAir Canada, providing the country’s largest airline with its airplane maintenance management software. Ottawa-based Mxi said the flyer will use the solution to automate and organize maintenance and engineering operations, such as materials and records management. “Mxi is very enthusiastic about partnering with a world-class airline such as Air Canada,” says Mxi president Les Hine. “The ability of the Maintenix system to provide integrated, real-time information across locations and departments, to capture and automate the knowledge built up by experienced workers will certainly support Air Canada in their role as leaders in the industry.” The software is expected to be in use fleet-wide by 2010.
