Major deal with US army
OSI Geospatial inks a five-year, US$10-million contract with the US Army, its largest deal yet with long-standing customer. The Ottawa-based navigational systems maker says the deal will see its US systems operations division supply the US Army with land-based command-and-control products and engineering services. OSI believes the new contract could lead to increased business in the US, UK and Canada, where the military is developing combat modernization programs to reduce casualties and strengthen operation readiness.
