Ottawa-based NAV CANADA selects Searidge Technologies’ IntelliDAR imaging platform to build a weather monitoring system for up to 130 remote locations across the country. Searidge, a Gatineau-headquartered provider of mission critical technology solutions and services for air traffic control and airport operations, says its digital weather camera system will help pilots make decisions based on near real-time information, such as sector visibility. “We are looking forward to further strengthening our relationship with NAV CANADA with the deployment of this weather monitoring system,” says Searidge president Moodie Cheikh. “NAV CANADA is a recognized world leader and their adoption of the Searidge IntelliDAR technology demonstrates their ongoing commitment to safer aviation.”
