Bridgewater Systems is chosen by Sprint to deliver network management services for the major major telco's, nationwide wireless network. Ottawa-based Bridgewater will now supply authentication, authorization and accounting (AAA) services for Sprint's network, which will be available commercially this year. Bridgewater is already the supplier of AAA services for Sprint's code-division multiple access 3G network. The deal will allow Sprint to provide network access control and support open network access services such as sales of electronic devices and network security.
