Previously, he was director of commercial aircraft solutions business development at Thales Aerospace and, before that, director of product strategy, responsible for directing strategy for in-flight entertainment, cabin information systems, and in-flight communications systems that feature Internet, wireless telephony and SMS services. Early in his career, he worked on the ARINC 741 and other standards while at MITRE Corp., a Virginia-based not-for-profit national resource that provides systems engineering, research and development, and information technology support to the US government. Mr. Colliver earned a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, as well as an MBA from East Tennessee State University.
