Ottawa-based TenXc Wireless is shipping product to India, having signed a deal to provide Indian telecom operator Reliance Communications with spectrum-efficient bi-sector array antennas for its nationwide GSM network. “The significance of this is that we’re a small company that’s had a large impact in the international business domain; it’s not easy to do business in India, especially for a small company, but we’ve shown that’s possible," says company spokesperson Minya Gavrilovic. The antennas will help increase the efficiency of radio spectrum for Reliance's second-generation telecom service. Financial terms of the deal have not been made public.
