Navy returns for upgrades
OSI Geospatial Inc., continuing to win contracts with the UK Royal Navy, nets new deals worth about US$2 million to refit the fleet’s warship systems. Through its international systems division, OSI will upgrade the UK navy's warship electronic chart display and information and automatic identification systems, which the company initially delivered in late 2006. “The Royal Navy is a valued customer and we are pleased that our relationship continues to strengthen,” says CEO Ken Kirkpatrick. “The award of these contracts confirms their commitment to our command-and-control technology and our ability to meet their operational requirements.”
