Ottawa companies BreconRidge Corp. and AFORE Solutions Inc. unite to provide a solution for vertically integrated engineering and manufacturing. The partnership, which will feature collaborative design and manufacturing and total product outsourcing, will leverage BreconRidge’s expertise in design and manufacturing services for electronic products, and AFORE’s advanced systems development capabilities, to “[offer] a unique value proposition to OEM's requiring product development as well as manufacturing services,” says Cyril McKelvie, president and CEO of BreconRidge. Says AFORE’s president and CEO Alex Berlin, “Our strategic partnership offers an exciting future for our mutual and new customers with the ability to offer complete design and manufacturing solutions.” The companies are hoping that the partnership will expand the scope of their product life-cycle services to include embedded software and systems development.
