FreeBalance inks a deal to provide its public financial management software to the Capital Development Authority (CDA) of Islamabad, Pakistan. The Ottawa-based company says the new customer will use its FreeBalance Accountability Suite to support all aspects of the CDA budget cycle, including fund allocations, expenditures, revenues, procurement, fixed assets, human resources and payroll. The solution will be implemented with assistance from Pakistani IT systems integrator EGS. Established in 1960, CDA has more than 14,000 employees working in 50 directorates.
