March Networks receives an order from an unspecified international hospitality group for 600 units of its VideoSphere security and monitoring cameras. The Internet protocol cameras will be installed at four “premier properties” in the United Arab Emirates: two hotels, a large retail complex and an entertainment venue. This is the Ottawa-based company’s second order from the customer. In June, the group bought an IP video management solution, including 160 IP cameras, from March’s CIEFFE subsidiary for a luxury UAE hotel. The latest deal, according to March, is worth close to seven figures.
