Wireless broadband equipment provider BelAir Networks deploys its wireless mesh nodes throughout the five-star, time-share Caribbean properties of Pelican Marina Residences and Pelican Resort Club on the island of St. Maarten. Mounted outdoors, the nodes support a network that allows guests to pay for services and items at the resorts’ shops using guest cards, as well as providing high-speed wireless Internet access and wireless video security. The installation follows two previous deployments for the resorts’ owners The Royal Resorts Group, which is using BelAir’s gear at its Mexican properties the Royal Haciendas and the Hotel El Castellano.
