International Datacasting Corp. signs a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to supply its technology to a new digital cinema distribution network in Europe. The deal will see Italy-based satellite service provider OpenSky using an end-to-end solution based on IDC’s SuperFlex Pro Cinema product line, which is capable of distributing content, such as digital movies and live events, via satellite. Arranged through PROFLine B.V., IDC’s Netherlands subsidiary, the MOU should lead to OpenSky deploying IDC’s gear in cinemas across Europe.
