Two new satellites under Telesat wing
Telesat wins a contract to manage the operations of two satellites that will soon be launched into space. Virginia-based Mobile Satellite Ventures
(MSV) and its Canadian partner have selected Telesat to operate their MSV-1 and MSV-2 satellites, which will be launched into the US and Canadian orbits over the next two years. MSV, which has operations in Ottawa, says the orbiters will be among the world’s most powerful commercial satellites, providing wireless coverage for conventional handsets and devices throughout the US and Canada.
