OTTAWA – CryptoCard scores a major deal for its authentication technology with Virgin Media Group subsidiary ntl:Telewest, the UK’s second largest fixed line communications company. Telewest’s remote workers will use the Ottawa company’s two-factor authentication digital keychain tokens to generate one-time passwords to secure the operations of the company’s advanced Internet, data and voice services. The deal helps Telewest align itself with UK government plans to extend flexible working rights to roughly 4.5 million people. Financial terms have not been disclosed.
